Samsung Repair - Frija & Odin Tutorial
(No Data Loss)
SECTION 1: FIX FOR GALAXY SERIES 8 & HIGHER (INCLUDES NOTE 8s & HIGHER) (GEARED MORE TOWARDS TO GALAXY 10s INCLUDING NOTE 10s) (THIS WILL NOT WORK ON SAMSUNGS S7 & LOWER)
1. ) Remove third party potential threating apps just to be sure.
2. ) Always make sure the phones up to date on the latest firmware.
3. ) The next step is to go to the dialer ## 72786# that forces the phone to reactivate.
4. ) Next step go back to the dialer and dial ##3282#
4.2 ) Go to edit
4.3 ) Then type 000000
4.4 ) Then go to LTE
4.5 ) Then go to band 41 that is enabled and uncheck to disable.
4.6 ) Then go to band 25 that is enabled and uncheck to disable.
4.7 ) Then go to band 41PCII that is enabled and uncheck to disable.
5. ) Reboot the phone don't expect full LTE service yet there are still some more steps...
6. ) Go to settings find VOLTE and enable. Search VOLTE in the search bar to enable it . Swipe right on the button to turn it on.
New icon will pop up at the top of the phone if done correctly.
7. ) Then go back to the dialer and type ##3282#
7.2 ) Go to edit
7.3 ) Then type 000000 again
7.4 ) Then LTE again
7.5 ) Then go to band priority
7.6 & 7.7 ) Set both bands 41 and 25 to the bottom of the list by typing the number 17 on band 25 and 18 on band 41 and that pushes them down the list. Make sure band 26 is set to 1 on the priority list.
7.8 ) Then turn off your phone and turn it back on.
IF THE PHONE DOESN'T ACTIVATE ON LTE AND IS STUCK ON 3G *Do these following steps!*
7.9) Go to settings tap on connections and then tap on data usage turn off mobile data and wait 30 seconds
8) On the same screen turn back on mobile data and wait 15 seconds
8.1) Go back into settings and tap on connections and select air plane mode
8.2) Turn off the phone and turn the phone back on
8.3) Then go back into settings tap on connections and turn off air plane mode then phone should pick up LTE
This fix is normally broken from a network reset or Samsung software update. So reapply the fix after each update or network reset
Made a mistake or need to undo changes, use these steps to restore default settings.
To perform a network reset, follow these steps.
1.) From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
2.) Tap Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings.
3.) Tap RESET SETTINGS.
4.) If you have set up a PIN, enter it.
5.) Tap RESET SETTINGS. Once complete, a confirmation window will appear.
If still doesn't work you can try to flash the stock firmware through Samsung SmartSwitch or flash with Odin.

This is a video that will teach you how to fix your Samsung 8-Latest (Plus and Ultra Included) or Note 8-Latest. This will allow you to forcefully update your ROM/Android System/Firmware after a bad over the air update ("OTA"). This also includes how to recovery from from Hard Resets and malware attacks that corrupted your rom.
THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO KEEP YOUR DATA WITHOUT FACTORY RESETTING YOUR DEVICE!
Please keep in mind this is not for novice users. You must proceed this process with step by step instructions and without disconnecting your device. Its important that you download all required files to perform this process in the proper sequence by the video guide. IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT DO NOT DO THIS!
